Owen's Mission is a project of the national Lutherans for Life organization. It was begun by Rev. Dr. James Lamb, former executive director of Lutherans for Life, when his grandson Owen died during prenatal surgery at 21 weeks.
To remember Owen, Rev. Dr. Lamb made it a goal to present Touch of Life fetal models to every Lutheran elementary and high school in the country to teach the over 100,000 students at those schools the value of every life. To date, over 34,000 students have learned this important lesson. If you are the principal or other administrator of a Missouri Lutheran school who has not yet received a set of models through Owen's Mission, contact Lutherans for Life of Missouri at [email protected]. |
