Our local chapters have participated in a number of activities locally, and LFL of Missouri has
initiated several projects that benefit our churches and organizations all over the state.
We attend the District Pastor and Teacher Conferences with information and educational
material for our professional church workers.
We offer materials free of charge from Lutherans for Life for churches and schools for their
Life Sunday observances in January. If your church or school would like to order materials, please
request a materials catalog.
We have two Witness of the Cross displays available for churches and schools to use at their
locations. The crosses represent the number of abortions performed every hour in the U.S. This
witness is a powerful display and is accompanied by signs explaining the crosses and offering
healing and forgiveness. The cross displays are available free of charge.

On Mother's Day of every year, LFL of Missouri has the state's largest diaper shower. Each
local chapter and church can gather diapers for their local women's shelter or crisis pregnancy center.
Our location in Missouri offers a unique oppurtunity, since the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod
is headquartered in St. Louis and the seminary which trains a majority of our ministers is located in Clayton.
We regularly help our seminary students and their pro-life groups with their various projects such as
the purchase of pro-life books and references and a Post Abortion Syndrome workshop. We are also
always available as a resource for any pro-life information they require.
During the past year, we have awarded Life Awards to one graduating senior at each of our Lutheran
High Schools in the St. Louis area. One student at each of the three high schools received a $100.00
grant for demonstrating a reverence and love for life. We plan to expand the program to every Lutheran
High School in Missouri.
